Hike named Suvesh Malhotra as its VP & Head of Engineering. The announcement is in line with Hike's vision of enabling a new social future by leveraging advanced technology.
A seasoned technology professional, Malhotra comes with over 15 years of experience in leading and implementing innovative technology solutions for businesses.
Prior to this, Malhotra has been SVP, Technology at OYO Hotels & Homes leading consumer-facing technology, Head of Technology at Amazon for BuyVIP, and CTO at StepOut. His expertise with building large scale distributed systems, mobile apps, ML-based systems, social network, eCommerce platforms, and IoT technologies, will add to the company's efforts towards innovating at the intersection of Art, AI & consumer delight.

In his previous stints, Suvesh has been SVP, Technology at OYO Hotels & Homes leading consumer-facing technology, Head of Technology at Amazon for BuyVIP, flash sales e-commerce platform, CTO at StepOut, a startup building social products in India and similar stints at Homeshop18 and Oracle.
